Nasi Kandar Gani Maju

Tried eating here after seeing their viral video on TikTok! I was really impressed by the owner (the uncle at the food counter) who kept energetically shouting “Tudiaaa suuurrr!”, which entertained all the customers. At first, I thought it was just something they did for invited content creator, but he actually does it for every customer! I have to say their service is truly number one. What surprised me even more was when the uncle greeted me personally and invited me to step behind the food counter to take a photo with him. He even offered to make a video together! I was touched by his kindness and warm personality. As for the food, the taste was quite good and the portion of rice was generous. Their fried chicken is different from the usual red-colored ones you find in nasi kandar, but here, it’s more like spiced fried chicken. The same goes for the fried squid. There’s also a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I sincerely wish your business continued success, powered by your energy and kindness! Aamiin

This guy keeps popping on my fyp I decided to try it myself. The items I've ordered are: 1. Kuah campur banjir 2. Peria goreng 3. Ayam bawang 4. Telur sotong 5. Bendi (wajib) 6. Teh tarik Coming up to RM28. The rice tasted great with the kuah campur. Some nasi kandar shops would coat their peria goreng with too much batter to the point you cant really taste the peria, that is not the case here. Their ayam bawang is good. One downside was their telur sotong. It was cold. Probably cooked a day before and reheated. The jockey would yell "Tuuudiaaa surrrr" to every single customer. Not quite sure how he can maintain that for the entire day. Definetly worth visiting. Carpark is challenging.

To be honesty, that seem a bit steep for something with a small portion. Comparable to their Ayam Bawang. Love it! Chose it since Ayam Bawang already sold out. But, I was not disappointed. Their fried chicken still good. Comparable to their famous ayam bawang. But, considering current climate of chicken's price. I think it is still within tolerable range. Still love their 'kuah' Good for cheat day. Sedap sehingga menjilat jari, dan pinggan. --- [14/05/2022] Tried new things. This time, rose chicken and it was scrumptious! Curry Squid egg was ok-ok. But, the spice did packed a punch. A little bit expensive for this order Not sure why. But, for take away and it was tastier than 13 may's dine in. Even when I ate it few hours after bought it. • Ayam ros • Stir fried cabbage • Salted egg • Curry squid egg RM19.50 -- [13/05/2022] Tried same menu for dine in lunch. Still good like previous visits. Just, the gravy a little bit runny. Not sure if it was just my buds or something else. But, chicken and the taste of their mixed gravy is still good in term of aroma, spices, etc Would try again in the future. • Ayam bawang • Stir fried cabbage • Boiled egg • Boiled okra RM11 --- [02/04/2022] Tried similar menu like 18 March, just this time tried take away before Ramadhan. Its still amazing. The flavor is consistent from previous visit. • Strong kuah/sauces • Tender chicken Plus, apparently there are some kind of gimmick in presentation where staff responsible to for rice/dishes would occasionally scream "Tudiiiaaa!" when pouring kuah on top of the rice. Unfortunately, missed my chance to record it when it happened and he put the kuah in visually appealing way like video below I'd uploaded. Depending on people, some probably love it, some probably don't. I personally does not care much about gimmick show like that. Come again solely because of taste I had on first visit. Would probably come again to try different menu than Ayam bawang next time. Tudia!!! Suuuurrrr Tiny shop but great food. The presentation was unique despite it being a regular mamak shop. Service was good as well as the servers were attentive and helpful with our requests. Parking can be quite difficult as this is a busy area right opposite the large mall. Price wise, it is quite expensive, RM 44 including drinks for 2 people. The beef my friend took was extremely tough and not at all chewable. Besides the beef, I enjoyed my meal here.
